Please join your friends and neighbors for an evening with the Salvestrin Winery Family. The Salvestrin family has been integral to Napa Valley’s history since 1932 when John and Emma Salvestrin purchased part of the historic Crane Ranch in St. Helena. Over the years, the family has cultivated the vineyard with passion and care, transitioning from grape growers to producers of handcrafted, boutique estate wines. Rich Salvestrin, a third-generation vintner with a degree in viticulture, returned to expand the family’s legacy in 1987, and the inaugural vintage of Salvestrin Cabernet Sauvignon followed in 1994. Today, the fourth generation of the Salvestrin family is growing up on this historic estate, ensuring that their commitment to quality and tradition endures.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything Salvestrin does. For over eighty years, their vineyard has been farmed with respect for the environment, and since 2006, holistic and environmentally friendly practices have been implemented in the vineyard and winery. Certified Napa Green, the Salvestrin estate uses compost, cover crops, and reduced irrigation to preserve the land, while energy-efficient practices in the winery ensure the crafting of organic, small-batch wines with minimal environmental impact. Their dedication to stewardship and winemaking excellence shines through in every bottle.
