Fireside Chat: An Evening with SFPD

Please join us to meet and chat with newly appointed SFPD Captain Luke Martin! 

Captain Martin will be sharing the latest info on what SFPD is doing in our neighborhood and how that may affect you within our community, as well as providing updates on what the city is doing to serve this area in particular. Captain Martin has a specialty in car side shows and is eager to chat about this subject as it has recently been seen within the streets near our building.  

Captain Martin was born in San Francisco and raised in San Francisco’s Excelsior District. His family relocated to San Mateo, where he attended Serra High School. After completing two years of college, Captain Martin followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the San Francisco Police Department. He joined the San Francisco Police Academy in October 1998. During his time with the SFPD, Captain Martin worked on a number of assignments, including Mission, Bayview, Northern, and Central Stations. He has also worked in a number of investigative units and served as the Lieutenant in Special Operations Traffic Division/Solo Unit.
