A Night with Carmina Shoemaker: Celebrating Tradition and Craftsmanship

Join us for an exclusive evening with Carmina Shoemaker, a family-run business renowned for crafting exquisite leather shoes on the island of Mallorca since 1866. This intimate event offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich history and meticulous craftsmanship that have defined Carmina Shoemaker for over six generations.

Their journey began in 1866 when Matías Pujadas opened a small workshop in Inca, Mallorca. His son, Mateo Pujadas, continued the legacy by establishing one of the first factories of Goodyear-stitched shoes in the Balearic Islands in 1905. José Albaladejo Pujadas, Matías’s great-grandson, launched one of Spain’s largest shoe companies in 1961 and created the iconic Castellano Loafer in 1962.

In 1997, José Albaladejo and his family founded Carmina Shoemaker, aiming to produce the world’s finest hand-crafted shoes. They have since expanded to major cities, including Madrid, Paris, Barcelona, New York, and our latest addition in San Francisco in 2024.
