In The Barrel: An Exploration of Loire Valley, France

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 | 6 PM – 7:30 PM | CLUB WINE ROOM

The Loire Valley, in central France along the Loire River and its tributaries, is distinguished by vineyards, farmland, and majestic châteaux. This wine-producing region is known for dry whites such as Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé.

With over 185,000 acres planted under vine, the Loire Valley is about two-thirds the size of the Bordeaux wine region. And due to its location and marginal climate, the overall quality of vintage dramatically affects the quality of the region’s wines.

Come to explore what the Loire Valley offers on a night of exploration with your host Jodi Sundermeier in this authentic taste-and-learn experience.

Please RSBP with your club coverage to join the fun with this night of exploration.

(This night we will be Focusing on Varietals of Burgundy: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay)
