This class is for red wine devotees who refuse to leave their Bordeaux behind even though they’ve heard white wine pairs better with cheese. It doesn’t have to! In this class, cheese and wine expert–and fellow red wine lover– Kirstin Jackson, will teach you how to masterfully balance red wine characteristics with cheese’s charms. You’ll learn which wheels pair best with tannins and heavy oak, which wedges prefer a silky red, and which cheeses favor a spicy blend to a buttery chardonnay. By the end of the class, you’ll have paired 4 wines and 7 cheeses, and leave confident in your ability to expertly match that special bottle of wine you’ve been saving to its new favorite cheese.
