Qigong & Tai Chi Class with Rebecca Grossbard
Rebecca Grossbard is a San Francisco-based certified instructor of Integral Qigong & Tai Chi and Wild Goose Qigong. Her lifelong passions for health, fitness and the mind-body connection ultimately led her to the study of Qigong and Tai Chi. The dramatic improvements in her own health sparked her desire to share these practices and empower others to optimize their health and wellbeing. As part of our focus on health and wellness, we would like to invite Residents to partake in one of two instructor-led Qigong & Tai Chi classes that Rebecca will be hosting on the Club Level 3rd Floor Terrace.
Qigong and Tai Chi (a martial form of Qigong) include powerful techniques of movement, breathing and mental focus that anyone can learn to achieve and maintain better energy balance. These practices stimulate the body’s natural healing ability and help build health resiliency. Relax, reduce stress, and feel more ease in your body as you practice these beautiful movements which also increase balance, strength, flexibility, and agility. No prior experience is needed, and all ages and experience levels are welcome. Residents are advised to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for the class.
