Special Event: An Evening with Ensemble SF

THURSDAY, AUGUST 15 | 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM | OWNERS LOUNGE

We are thrilled to invite you to an exceptional musical experience with Ensemble SF, a dynamic collective founded in 2013 dedicated to fostering a more inclusive world through the power of art.

About Ensemble SF:

Ensemble SF is committed to bringing world-class music beyond the traditional concert hall, performing in diverse settings such as schools, juvenile centers, community centers, hospitals, and nursing homes throughout the Bay Area. Through these outreach efforts, the musicians of Ensemble SF generously donate their time and passion for chamber music, enriching the cultural fabric of our community.

Featured Artists:

Jennifer Choi: An award-winning violinist, Jennifer has captivated audiences worldwide with her compelling performances. From her debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall to her collaborations with composer-improvisers like John Zorn, Jennifer seamlessly blends classical and modern repertoire, performing on the 1718 “Firebird” Stradivarius.

Rebecca Jackson-Picht: A dedicated advocate for the healing power of music, Rebecca has performed in marginalized communities globally and founded impactful projects like Music in May and Sound Impact. Her commitment to using music for community building has earned her the KSBW Jefferson Award for volunteerism and public service.

Jessica Chang: A versatile Taiwanese-American violist, Jessica is the founder of Chamber Music by the Bay and has performed extensively across North America, Europe, and Asia. Balancing her music career with a role in information security, Jessica brings a unique perspective to Ensemble SF’s performances.

Angela Lee: A Juilliard and Yale alumna, Angela has performed globally, including humanitarian tours in war-torn regions. As a member of The Lee Trio and Ensemble SF, she continues to inspire through her profound connection with chamber music, playing on a 1762 Nicolo Gagliano cello.
